Nova Thera: Dueling

Nova Thera: Battle of Honor, our third collaboration with Pixelmon, came with a dopamine hit in bringing an in-game world to life.

Animation director HuuTu Nguyen, who has led the project across three seasons, broke his back for the cinematic cutscenes, especially the chaotic clash between Silver Boy

and Ronin at the Roothome Bar.

And needless to say, we’re super proud of the team in conceptualizing the epic atmosphere of the Colosseum-inspired grand arena. No strong contrast in that winter setting, we had to redouble our efforts in shaping light systems reacting to every strike throughout action-packed sequences.

A heavy challenge, but we worked it out.
