As we wanted fans like us to recognize their favorite nostalgia, so we aimed to go old school with our approach to character colors and environments. We even used a variety of practical effects to give the piece some flavor, which was a lot of fun to do.
Two-month production, simplicity did the storytelling: hand-painted frames, soft pauses, subtle motion. Just let small character moments do the work.
Sometimes, the simplest tools tell the richest stories.
A quiet nod to background artist Nguyen Thien Quang for shaping the soul of this piece.
